Pre implantation genetic tests
Pre implantation genetic tests are a group of genetic tests done on the embryos formed after assisted reproductive techniques to find out genetically normal embryos before transferring to the uterus.
There are various types of this including PGT-A,PGT M and PGT-SR depending on what is the aim of the test.
PGT -A is performed in cases of advanced maternal age or in those facing recurrent implantation failures whereby transferring the genetically normal embryos give a
better IVF result.
Understanding Infertility Treatment

Causes of Infertility
Infertility often catches couples unaware until they’ve been trying to conceive naturally for six months to a year without success. There are various factors contributing to both male and female infertility.

- Ageing (for females, typically after 35, and for males, around 40 or older)
- Unhealthy lifestyle habits including smoking, excessive drinking, poor diet, lack of physical activity, and high stress levels
- Environmental and occupational factors such as prolonged exposure to extreme heat, chemicals, and pollution
- Medical conditions like diabetes, thyroid disorders, and certain cancers
- Reproductive health issues such as low sperm count, diminished ovarian reserve, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, and blockages or damage to the reproductive tubes.
